Mr. Rodger Sceviour is the Real Sector Statistics advisor at SARTTAC. He assists the National Statistics Offices in the region on many national account’s subjects including; GDP Rebasing, Expenditure GDP, Quarterly GDP, and the Sequence of Accounts. Prior to joining SARTTAC, Mr. Sceviour was a national accounts compiler with decades of experience in a leading national statistical agency, Statistics Canada. He has capacity development experience though assisting the national accounts programs of Caribbean nations; including Belize, Suriname and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. As well, he has contributed to the North American Trade in Value Added Database; a collaborative effort between Statistics Canada, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, and, La Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Geografía. His areas of specialization include supply-use tables, rebasing/re-benchmarking, international trade statistics, gross fixed capital, and, the use of administrative data.
